St. Elisabeth’s carollers take to the street
A group of Christmas Carollers from St. Elisabeth’s took to the streets to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to North Reddish.
Starting at Morrisons, the jolly group headed down to the Poet’s Corner estate, with stops in Houldsworth Square and St. Elisabeth’s on route.
The carollers final stop was a quiet, candle lit service outside an empty shop on Longford Road West.
Rev. Angie prayed on behalf of community group, Re:dish, that the owner of the empty shop would be moved to help them by providing access to the property for community use.
The group then finished at North Reddish Community Centre for a much-need warm meal.
