On the 4th Sunday of the month we gather together for Taizé style worship. The service typically takes place in the Lady Chapel between 6pm and 6:45pm.
A Taizé worship service involves sung and chanted prayers in many different languages, meditation, a period of silence and liturgical readings.
The Taizé community is an ecumenical monastic order based in France with a strong devotion to peace and justice through prayer and meditation. Prayer and silence are at the heart of the Taizé experience and our monthly service attempts to bring some of the elements of this community to Reddish.
